We are looking for an Associate Director, Digital Products – Commercial to lead the vision, strategy, and architecture of our Marketing and Sales digital product portfolio, ensuring operational excellence across the end-to-end prospect-to-order process. Does that sound like you?
About the job
As the Associate Director, you will be responsible for the evolution of CRM Dynamics and the broader commercial applications landscape, aligning business objectives with enterprise architecture standards.
In your future role as Associate Director, Digital Products – Commercial you will:
Lead Product Vision & Roadmap: Own the product vision and a single prioritized roadmap for the pillar, structuring a backlog based on business value, risk, and cost in collaboration with commercial stakeholders.
Define Architecture & Technology Direction: Own the target architecture for the Marketing and Sales application landscape, defining integration patterns (APIs, event-driven), data flows, and governing technical debt.
Drive AI & Advanced Solution Design: Identify, design, and drive the adoption of AI and automation solutions across the prospect-to-order process—from lead scoring to generative-AI assistance for sales and marketing teams.
Ensure Cross-Product Integration: Safeguard the design integrity between Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics, with a particular focus on CRM-to-SAP SD flows.
Act as Business Partner: Translate commercial strategy and process pain points into product opportunities, qualifying incoming demand and aligning senior stakeholders.
Ensure Governance & Compliance: Ensure solutions meet Nouryon’s cybersecurity, data privacy (GDPR), and AI governance standards, while steering external vendors and SaaS contracts.
We believe you bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: 10+ years in digital/IT roles, including hands-on solution or application architecture, with 3+ years owning a product, platform, or application portfolio in a commercial, marketing, or sales domain.
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of digital application architecture, AI/ML solution design, CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales & Marketing), and SAP commercial processes and SD touchpoints.
Leadership Competencies: Architectural judgment, strategic product thinking, structured problem-solving, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
Language: Professional proficiency in English for global collaboration.
Great if you have:
Experience in the chemicals or process industry, working in a product-oriented operating model.
Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, or agile product management (e.g., Scrum Product Owner, SAFe POPM).
