If yes, this might be the opportunity for you! We are looking for a Product & Application Specialist to Nouryon Levasil. The position can be located in Bohus Sweden or Cologne, Germany.

In this role you will belong to our sales organization and be the technical specialist. You will deliver technical support to our customers in the region and maintain optimal technical relationship with our clients. You will be the focal point for product and application knowledge. It will be your responsibility to translate our customers needs into business opportunities.

Main responsibilities

  • Handle application questions and technical discussions with customers
  • Maintain active contact with technical staff and developers of our key customers and distributors and run development projects together with them.
  • Lead investigations of customer claims and make the complaints into opportunities for improvement.

  • Support, initiate and take part in R&D projects.
  • Maintain close contact with our European plants and other important integrated supply chain stakeholders.
  • Being an advocate of customer needs in to the Levasil organization thereby promoting that the right decisions being made for the business.
  • Recommend product and process improvement based on customer input and other data (performance, cost, consistency)
  • Take part of the the EMEIA sales team activities.
  • Make statistical analyzes with purpose of continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for keeping well-organized records of customer critical data..

Job Requirements

  • Master or Ph.D. in Chemistry and/or Chemical engineering
  • 5 years work relevant work experience
  • Fluent in English and German.

Additional information

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Technical Development Manager and based in Cologne Germany, or Bohus Sweden.
