Logistics Specialist I

We are now searching for our next Logistics Specialist. The Logistics Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely management of Logistics Rates in SAP and TMS systems, participation in the tendering process, maintain logistics master data in SAP and other systems. 

Main responsibilities
End to end processing of rate requests (outbound + inbound): ensure correct rates are in the system to meet Sales requirements (close work with sales desk)

  • Validate and correct rate requests if needed
  • Work with logistics providers to obtain rates
  • Get approvals to accept the rate (sales and or procurement)
  • Register the rate on the appropriate systems (SAP and TMS)

Participation in tendering process

  • Support the process with collection of business requirements
  • Help with data analysis (check correctness and completeness of the data)
  • Register tendered rates in the appropriate systems (SAP and TMS)
  • Process periodic rate updates

Maintain logistic master data

  • Set up route, equipment and carrier determination in SAP
  • Request new vendors to be set up in SAP and TMS
  • Maintain MSDS sheets


  • A bachelor’s diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and TMS (is preferable)
  • Experience with MS Excel (50-60% of work time) and Word
  • Good understanding of the modal transport market
  • Understand rate build up
  • Accurate and attentive to details
  • Methodological approach to work
  • Ability to run reports
  • Fluent in English and Swedish

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Supervisor Logistics Support Deskbased in Bohus.
