Main Responsibilities
As a Logistic Supervisor for Stockviks Logistic department you will have responsibility for two business units Expancel (TS) and Klorat (PF).  In this role, you will run logistics projects and analyze future needs of the department. As a Logistic Supervisor you will monitor the department's finances and ensure that the department's financial goals / KPI´s are continuously monitored and developed as needed. You will be the site's safety responsible towards the Swedish Transport Agency (Air freight) and introduces new employees and managing recurring educations according to plan (Must be approved by SÄPO). In this role you will participates in various working groups for the site such as traffic group ets. and represent the department in the work with  deviations and act preventively with action plans and root cause analyzes. 

Additional responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the correct PPE is applied in the area.
  • Make sure that Chlorate/Expancel is staffed as needed and in consultation with production planners.
  • Ensure that load securing certificates are complied with and communicated in the correct channels and that relevant changes are implemented correctly. 
  • Plan sample operations for Expancel to meet lead times and planned forecast.
  • Maintain and run good 5S levels and BBS work in the department.
  • Ensure that the department complies with HSE requirements and that safety always has the highest focus.


Qualifications

To be successful in this position you are an experienced leader who is straightforward and know the power of teamwork. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems and build strong teams. You can easily build contact networks for collaborations across departments such as production units,  HUB, IBP, CS, Technology and many more. You should be able to evaluate daily staffing needs and allocate resources based on the business units load and competence on the site's three units. In this role you should be able to immerse yourself in the work processes to find improvements or more efficient working methods. It is meritorious if you understand logistics flows internal, external and monitor inventory levels continuously to proactively optimize inventory capacity.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistic, Engineering-related discipline or experience that the employer deems appropriate. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or customer service 
  • A minimum of 3 years as a leader
  • Fluency in Swedish and English; other languages a plus

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to Site Logistics Manager and based in Stockvik, Sweden.
