Nouryon has been awarded a 2023 Responsible Care Company Award and a Safety Award by the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) in China.
AICM recognizes member companies in the areas of environment, health and safety improvements, product safety, corporate social responsibility, energy conservation, and carbon reduction that made demonstrable advancements in China.

Responsible Care is a global chemical industry initiative and awards are announced every two years. The initiative encourages member companies to improve performance in the areas of environmental protection and safety, while working to increase trust in the chemical industry. As a member company of AICM in China, Nouryon has signed the latest International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) Responsible Care Global Charter (RCGC) and has been recognized with three Responsible Care awards since 2019.

Additionally Nouryon hosts the AICM OTP (Open-to-Public) program in all its China manufacturing sites every year, showcasing chemical innovations and maintaining transparent communications with employee families and local communities.
