Aquatreat® AR 980 is a maleic copolymer which was developed to control scale under stressed conditions.  The molecular weight is approximately 2800.  The product is supplied as a clear amber solution.   Aquatreat® AR 980 has been found to be particularly effective in high pH, high alkalinity and high electrolyte conditions.
