TecGlaze® N, similar to our Release Agent™ NL-1, is an external release agent designed for the Thermoset Composites market, facilitating the easy demolding of cured GRP end products from molds. Both products are waxy pastes that should be applied as a thin initial coat on the mold. Ensure the surface is completely covered when applying the wax. A soft cloth can be used to spread the wax evenly. After application, allow the wax layer to dry and then polish it thoroughly. It is not necessary to renew the wax layer after each demolding. The number of demoldings possible with the same wax layer depends on the mold material, the demolding time, and the cleaning method used. For instance, if the mold is washed with water containing detergents, it may be necessary to renew the wax layer after each demolding.
