Applications
Trigonox® 63A is phthalate-free blended initiator used for the curing of unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and acrylic thermoset resins at ambient conditions in conjunction with metal salts. Trigonox® 63A provides for a similar gel to MEKP’s with a shorter gel-to-peak interval, resulting in faster demolding in applications such as cast polymer, laminates and RTM. Additional end-use information is available in Nouryon’s application brochures.
Trigonox® 63A is a phthalate-free blended initiator for longer working time and faster curing of promoted unsaturated polyester resins at ambient conditions. Used in place of MEKP to extend open time and reduce gel to peak.
