Trigonox® 75 VRN is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide formulation for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. Trigonox® 75 VRN offers all the advantages of standard Trigonox® 75. The Trigonox® 75 VRN includes a vanishing red indicator system that in most cases virtually disappears during cure. The red color is there when you need it i.e. during the mixing step, but will disappear during cure. In thin laminates up to approx. 4 mm Trigonox® 75 VRN performs comparable with Butanox M-50, however, in thicker laminates up to approx. 10 mm Trigonox® 75 VRN gives a reduced peak exotherm at equal gel time and curing time. Therefore, Trigonox® 75 VRN is suitable for the cure of both thin and thick sections in one particular product.
