About the job:

In this role as Global Fleet Asset Manager, you will have contact with various departments, including manufacturing, logistics, business planning, and procurement. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure fleet operations align with production schedules, collaborate with logistics to optimize transportation and delivery processes, partner with business planning to align fleet capabilities with strategic goals, and liaise with procurement to acquire and maintain fleet assets that meet industry standards. Additionally, you will interact with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless fleet operations and compliance with regulations.

 

In your future role as Global Fleet Asset Manager your responsibilities will include:

  •  Manage global coordination of Fleet Assets for Metal Alkyls/HPMO in Polymer and Inorganic Specialties.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and quality of fleet assets.
  •  Balance fleet budget with service, inventory, and cost.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Engineering for equipment standards.
  •  Interface with operations for regulatory compliance.

 

Project Management:

  • Develop and monitor global CAPEX plan.
  •  Coordinate project activities, manage risks, and provide insights.
  •  Review fleet growth plans and lifecycle for compliance.

 

People Management:

  • Manage customer expectations and liaise with sourcing.
  • Build stakeholder networks and drive accountability.
  • Ensure asset specifications comply with regulations.

 Functional Excellence:

  • Adhere to Nouryon policies and contribute to project management excellence.
  • Participate in value improvement and knowledge management.

 

Global Coordination:

  • Optimize budget and service levels globally.
  • Collaborate with market leaders and establish maintenance support.

 

Key Activities:

  • Lead and execute projects to meet business objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder relations and project uncertainties.
  • Control project timelines and ensure successful completion.
  • Oversee procurement and lifecycle management of fleet assets.
  • Implement risk management and provide training for safety and compliance.
  • Utilize data analytics for fleet performance and distribute KPIs.

 

The position is based in Deventer but requires occasional travel. Approximately 25 % of you working time will be for regional & global travel.

 

We believe you bring

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • Highly proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Access; SharePoint)
  • Demonstrable capability to analyze data (including mass cross-reference data validation, trending and forecasting)
  • Experience with SAP (equivalent ERP system)

 

 

Great if you have

  • Experience from Business Warehouse (or equivalent data warehouse) or Arkieva (or equivalent advanced planning software)
  • Experience from APICS CPIM or CSCP

 

We believe you are…

a person with excellent analytical skills, solid understanding of supply chain and business processes and the ability to prioritize and proactively complete projects with little direction. You also have good communicating skills and talk easily with stakeholders in different function levels.
