About the job:

 

The Commercial Excellence & Sales Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth sales process and supporting day to day internal commercial and customer service activities. This position also contributes to strengthening customer relationships by coordinating activities and process improvement activities across functions to satisfy customer needs and by providing customer service support to internal and external customers.

 

 

In your future role as a Sales Support, you will:

 

  • Enable flawless pre and post sales processes (master data and pricing is key)
  • Be responsible for monitoring customer fulfillment commitment - comparing orders to contracts.
  • Provide sales support to customers with unique requirements.
  • Liaison between trade compliance and customers/sales
  • Coordinate customer complaints, recertifications, and price supports.
  • Manage and lead customer MDM request.
  • Provide continuous improvement to ensure cohesive and robust sales processes including master data, fleet, pricing, sample management and commercial training.
  • Coordinate rebate management with account and/or sales and marketing managers.
  • Coordinate special tasks between customers/sales/customer service/and logistics
  • Gather data and analysis in support of driving change and process improvements.
  • Act as the right hand to Commercial Excellence & Sales Support Manager and business line Commercial Manager

 

 

We believe you bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Support or Customer Service role in a manufacturing and/or logistics organization
  • History of increasing responsibilities and leadership experience
  • Fluent in English. Preferable additional command of Spanish
  • Experience (proficiency preferred) in ERP, SAP system, preferable in a Sales and Distribution, B2B international environment.
  • Experience with CRM (MS Dynamics)
  • Understanding of manufacture business environments and workflows
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, customer focused, results oriented, an effective collaborator, information synthesis and efficient problem solving required.
  • Experience with data analysis in Excel

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Commercial Excellence & Sales Support Manager in Chicago, IL.
