As an RTR Accountant II, you will play a key role in executing Record-to-Report activities and ensuring accurate, timely, and complete transactional accounting. You will support month-end close processes, maintain strong internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial reporting. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and alignment with global accounting standards and corporate guidelines.
Post manual and recurring journal entries accurately and on time
Manage AR transactions, resolve unmatched items, and propose bad debt provisions
Perform intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and accruals
Support month-end close activities such as depreciation runs, revaluations, and salary uploads
Account for rebates, commissions, and FX hedging transactions
Analyze balance sheet and P&L positions, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively
Clear suspense accounts and reconcile intercompany balances
Prepare reports and complete balance sheet reconciliations
Partner with Controlling, Reporting, Treasury, Sales, and Customer Service teams
Support process improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma projects
Ensure compliance with IFRS, governance requirements, and corporate policies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3–5 years of experience in accounting (AP, AR, Cash, or general ledger)
Fluent English, as you will be communicating regularly with global teams
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong Excel skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A hands-on mindset and ability to meet deadlines, especially during month-end
Team-oriented approach and continuous improvement mindset
Availability to work on-site at our office in downtown Mexico City (Insurgentes Sur), Monday through Friday
