At Nouryon, our global team takes positive action every day, to reach higher collectively and individually. We create innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers to answer society’s needs – today and in the future.

We are looking for team members who bring ideas forward, champion others and work together to do better. Does that sound like you?

About the job

The Global Supply Planner for CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose) and Polysulfides is responsible for ensuring reliable product availability globally while optimizing inventory, capacity, and cost. You will translate the demand plan into a feasible and efficient supply plan, balancing raw material constraints, batch/process realities, lead times, and service targets. This role is central to IBP, partnering closely with manufacturing, product management (allocation when needed), Customer Service, and demand planners.

In your future role as Global supply planner you will

•    Convert the consensus demand plan into a constrained, executable supply plan for CMC and Polysulfides across global sites and tollers.
•    Maintain mid/short-term plans (0–24 months), including MPS/MRP parameters, lot-sizing, cycle plans, and safety stock levels.
•    Optimize network allocation and intercompany stock transfers to balance service, cost-to-serve, and working capital.
•    Set and review inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, MOQ,) at SKU/plant/whs level
•    Deliver service-level targets (OTIF & CRIT) with minimal expedites; lead root-cause and corrective actions for backorders.
•    Run “what-if” scenarios for demand surges, supply disruptions, and product transitions; recommend trade-offs.
•    Maintain and improve planning parameters and exception rules; standardize best practices across both product lines.
•    Lead weekly control tower cadence on supply risks, backlog, and recovery plans.
•    Lead monthly site supply review and escalate to regional SMR when needed.

We believe you bring
•    A Master’s  or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
•    Up to 3 years of experience in supply / scheduling planning, or supply chain management.
•    A ‘just-do-it’ and hands-on mentality combined with an analytical mindset and the ability to make clear trade-off recommendations (service vs costs).
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across regions and functions.
•    Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Great if you have

•    Experience with MRP (SAP), Arkieva (supply module).
•    Experience working with Artificial Intelligence

We believe you are

•    A visionary leader who sets clear direction and motivates teams.
•    Skilled in coaching and talent development, fostering growth and engagement.
•    Strong decision-maker and effective communicator across cultures and disciplines.

We offer you

•    An employment contract for an indefinite period
•    A competitive gross annual salary
•    35 holidays based on a full-time position
•    An variable bonus
•    An excellent pension plan with a strong contribution rate, most of which is paid by Nouryon.
•    LifeCheck Employee Assistance Program: Free, confidential wellbeing support for you and your family
•    Bright, modern offices with excellent public transport connections
•    A welcoming, international team and a positive, enjoyable work environment
•    An attractive bike plan
•    A company fitness plan to stay active and healthy
•    Tax-friendly perks & discounts on a wide range of products and services
