About the job 

As a Daytime Process Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production at our Rjukan site. This is a daytime position with no shift work. You will monitor and operate production processes, perform laboratory analyses and quality checks, manage raw materials, and support a wide range of operational tasks that contribute to the daily running of the site. You will collaborate with colleagues across production, maintenance, and quality to support operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will be part of a close and collaborative team of approximately 14 colleagues who support and learn from each other.

In your future role as Process Operator you will

• Operate and monitor the production process according to operating orders and procedures.
• Report operational status and process information in relevant systems, including the operating log and MES.
• Perform daily and weekly laboratory analyses according to the analysis program.
• Receive, sample, and manage raw materials and operating supplies, including inventory control and stock follow-up.
• Carry out laboratory duties, including handling laboratory equipment, chemicals, sampling, analysis, and documentation of results.
• Perform operational and preventive maintenance tasks in collaboration with the maintenance team.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized workplace by following HSE requirements, 5S standards, and waste management routines.
• Support additional operational tasks such as reporting, waste handling, energy follow-up, and continuous improvement activities.

We believe you bring

• At least 2 years of upper secondary education within machine, process, or a related technical field.
• A certificate within chemistry, process operations, or a related discipline.
• Relevant education or practical experience from a similar role.
• Laboratory experience.
• HSE training.
