Purpose and Key Objectives of the Job
- Sales of the full range of the “A&F” product portfolio in the designated territory to small customers
- Member of the EMEA sales organization.
- Take ownership to deliver sales to the budget
- Direct contact with customers mainly by phone or online.
- Support Sales Manager and GKAM administrating their customers
- Take ownership of and deliver on the short- and long-term objectives.
- Take ownership of and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Prepare detailed annual budget and quarterly forecasts/demand plan for the account.
- Conduct business according to Nouryon code of conduct (internally and externally).
About the job (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop, manage, and ensure realization sales for the assigned accounts (including supporting the order processing).
- Define opportunities for new business as part of sales forecasting and opportunity management
- Understand Customer Value Proposition at the accounts.
- Keep an overall perspective of interactions and communications between the accounts and Nouryon. Serve as the lead contact for the customer and its different functions.
- Establish and build relationship with key decision makers and buyers (procurement).
- Create a strong network within the business/segment and Nouryon with regards to the accounts.
- Provide market intelligence feedback to commercial management on market environment, competitor activities
- Manage customers overdue receivables within target
- Manage customer complaints through to final resolution.
- Monthly reporting of the business progress.
- Monthly update of CRM system of own and colleagues customers
- Weekly update on overdue receivables of dedicated range of customers.
- Monthly update of Forecasting system of dedicated range of customers.
- Monthly/quarterly pricing updates of dedicated range of customers.
- Manage customer relationships and requirements in line with the Performance Formulations/Agriculture BL strategy.
- Follow the process disciplines and the usage of systems such as RFA, Arkieva, CRM etc.
- Ensure that all Nouryon corporate directives, guidelines, and principals (competition compliance etc.) are strictly adhered to throughout the organization.
We believe you bring (Education & Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in business.
- 1-3 years of experience of relevant experience from the chemical industry or equivalent.
- Experience in sales and negotiations within industrial business environment is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- English and other relevant languages.
- Experience from a global business culture is preferred.
- Experience of working in CRM tools.
- Experience SAP desirable.
