In your future role as a Regional Procurement Manager – Chemicals you will
Lead a team of Direct Procurement Category Managers to secure commercial excellence across the regions, drive performance improvements within the supply chain and secure that all procurement deliverables within projects are provided on time at a high quality.
Develop procurement strategies at a regional and/or global category level for a total annual spend of 50-100 million USD of direct materials.
Explore cost reduction opportunities and establish a total cost of ownership approach internally and with external suppliers. Actively work to improve commercial terms with suppliers, identify ways to support minimize spending and reduce cost to support the company’s financial objectives.
Actively engage with key stakeholders from different Business Lines to understand business requirements and incorporate them into the supplier selection and decision-making process.
Work closely with stakeholders to align technical and commercial requirements, secure total costs and inculcate long-term partnership with key suppliers.
You will have exposure to high level business decision making and the chance to work with various stakeholders. Amongst them: a mature global procurement team, suppliers, site planners & senior management (Directors & Vice Presidents). On top of that the opportunity to drive and lead global continuous improvement projects.
You will be working in an international procurement team and reporting directly to the Procurement Director of Americas region.
