About the job  

The Global Retirement Analyst plays an important role in supporting the administration and governance of U.S. and Canadian retirement programs while contributing to the broader oversight of Nouryon’s global retirement offering. Working closely with the Head of Global Benefits, this role helps ensure plans are delivered smoothly, compliantly, and with a strong focus on a positive employee experience, combining hands-on execution with thoughtful analysis to bring clarity to data and support well-informed decision-making. Through strong partnership and a proactive approach, the Global Retirement Analyst helps strengthen program delivery and contributes to the continuous improvement of retirement programs across regions.


 

In your future role as “Global Retirement Analyst” you will

 

  • Own the day-to-day administration of U.S. and Canadian retirement plans (401(k), nonqualified plans, and union pensions), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a positive employee experience • Oversee all global defined benefit and defined contribution plans for all Nouryon countries and entities including creating a dashboard of all programs, descriptions, employee participation and expenses. • Operate in close partnership with Head of Global Benefits to align priorities, governance, and strategic direction within the broader global retirement framework • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and fiduciary requirements, proactively identifying risks and escalating or addressing them as appropriate in coordination with global and local stakeholders • Execute and oversee key transactions (contributions, loans, withdrawals, payroll funding) with strong controls and disciplined reconciliation

  • Serve as a key resource and subject matter expert on retirement plan operations and governance, providing clear, practical guidance across HR, Finance, and external partners in multiple regions • Support fiduciary oversight by coordinating the preparation of materials, participating in meetings, and ensuring follow-through on agreed actions • Maintain clear, audit-ready processes and contribute to continuous improvement and consistency of retirement practices across regions.

 


Global Data, Insights & Strategic Reporting

  •  Develop and maintain global reporting and dashboards, providing clear insights into participation, cost, and plan performance across regions
  • Partner with Manager and Global Rewards to translate data into actionable insights that inform plan design and broader global strategy
  • Support budgeting and longer-term retirement strategy through thoughtful analysis and a global perspective on trends and outcomes • Ensure strong data integrity across systems and regions, identifying and resolving discrepancies

 

Employee Experience & Advisory Support

  • Work with vendors and internal teams to deliver practical, employee-friendly guidance on retirement plans, supporting consistent employee understanding across geographies
  • Communicate complex topics in a clear, accessible way for diverse employee populations
  • Partner closely with local HR teams to deliver consistent, high-quality support aligned with global standards and local requirements.

 

Vendor & Stakeholder Management
 

 

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with administrators, advisors, and consultants, ensuring high-quality service delivery across regions
  • Work in alignment with manager to monitor vendor performance, priorities, and governance expectations globally • Connect Global Rewards, local HR, and Finance to ensure alignment on reporting, compliance, and execution across markets
  • Support consistent governance of global retirement programs while recognizing and accommodating local regulatory and market differences


Communication & Continuous Improvement

 

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders, including preparing materials for leadership review and discussion
  • Partner with team leadership to support the evolution of Nouryon’s global retirement strategy, identifying opportunities to simplify and strengthen programs
  • Stay current on regulatory and market trends across regions, bringing forward ideas that enhance both compliance and employee value globally



We believe you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration or equivalent
  • 8 years of progressive benefits experience with U.S. and Canadian DC and DB retirement plan administration and compliance
