Expancel^® microspheres – a small thermoplastic sphere encapsulating a gas. Add heat and they expand dramatically up to 60 times their original volume.

A significant advantage of Expancel^® microspheres is the reduced need for filler content. With only small amounts of microspheres added to the formulation, it is possible to achieve the same level of filling as with large quantities of conventional fillers.
