Nouryon’s manufacturing facility in Mahad, located in Maharashtra, India, has been operational for more than three decades. The site manufactures organic peroxides and features a refilling station for organometallic substances. The site's dedication to safety has been pivotal in ensuring a safe working environment for its employees resulting in an outstanding safety milestone - 12 consecutive injury-free years! This impressive record is a testament to Nouryon's commitment to safety practices and robust management systems.

“Nouryon's focus on safety extends beyond just complying with regulations. Robust incident reporting systems are in place to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences,” said Sanjay Salunkhe, Nouryon Mahad Site HSE Manager. “We are confident that our well-implemented safety processes and focus on continuous improvement will continue to ensure a safer workplace for all our employees."

This remarkable feat achieved by the Nouryon Mahad site has been recognized by the Mahad Manufacturers Association (MMA) and adjoining chemical manufacturing companies. Nouryon is committed to sharing its expertise in safety processes with other companies and communities beyond its own operations. The Nouryon Mahad site team has often been invited by the MMA and neighboring peer companies to share best practices and impart safety training to peer company safety personnel so they can implement such processes in their organizations.

“This achievement is a result of the collective efforts and commitment of our employees at the Nouryon Mahad site,” said Amit Salagare, Nouryon Mahad Site Manager. "Safety is our top priority, and we are continuously working towards creating a culture of safety excellence.”

As Nouryon India continues to grow and evolve, our focus on safety and process optimization will remain a top priority. The company is committed to delivering high-quality products and services while ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the communities we serve.
