Nouryon Surface Chemistry has the global experience, expertise and sustainable solutions to help the Water Treat industry enhance its treatment of Cooling Towers, Boilers, RO and Kaymr Digester.  Our portfolio of products with advanced functionalities allows our customers to select solutions that best fit their specific needs in most Water Treatment application.



Account Manager Water Treatment
Location Central East Coast Area (NY, NJ, DE, VA area)
Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities
•Responsible for maintaining current and developing new customers in the Water Treatment segment. Knowledge of treating Cooling Tower, Boilers, RO and Kaymr Digester would be a positive.
•Selling: maintain and expand position at existing accounts, meeting aggressive growth targets
•Prospecting: locating and developing new customers, meeting aggressive growth targets
•Targeting: allocating time among prospects and customers
•Communicating: providing information about the company’s products and services
•Servicing: consulting and providing technical/formulation support
•Information Gathering: Identify new customers, new products, and new applications,    conduct market research and intelligence work, including competitors
•Organization: maintain Call Plans, Key Account Plans, and New Business Opportunities
•Follow up and resolve customer accounts receivable issues
•Accurate forecasting entered in SAP Zemeter and communicated to Demand Planning
•Keep CRM account profiles, activities and contacts current
•Write timely contact reports on all customer meetings involving substantial or new information
•Receive and interpret customer complaints. Assist in its investigation, resolution and response
 
 
 

Job Requirements

   Requirements
•Education: BS degree, preferably in Chemistry or Engineering
•Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic
•Above average interpersonal and presentation skills
•Knowledge of CRM, SAP and MS Office, especially Excel
•Minimum of 5 to10 years sales experience in Chemical Sales, Chemical Distribution and/or Water Treatment
•Proven ability to grow multi-national accounts including ownership of account strategy, contracts, and strategy execution, including strong closing skills and forecasting
•Demonstrated ability to develop a harmonious continuous improvement culture while working with other internal team such as R&D and Supply Chain
•Requires a valid driver’s license and approximately 50% overnight travel
