1. Lead the team to operate on daily import & export operations, deal with the difficulties to support team keep stable service level.
2. Import & export cost management, minimize extra surcharge, find cost saving opportunities and implementation.
3. Generate monthly report, including data analysis, improvement actions, and organize review meeting with stakeholders.
4. Lead to continuously process optimization and improvement, implementation.
5. Manage forwarders/carriers’ daily operations, performance KPIs, and monthly review with forwarders to improve performance.
6. Encourage and arrange team members to participant trainings of expert knowledge.
7. Proactive communicate with China customs/China entry-exit Inspection and quarantine/Marine Affairs,etc. related bureau to timely get the government rules and regulations updated and comply with them. HS code.

Function Skills


- Experienced Import and export professional ism with broad understanding of import and export knowledge in chemicals industry  
- Operational excellence, experience of Lean 6 S igma is preferred
- Strategic thinking
- Expertise and knowledge of Logistics in general and import and export   specially

- Ability to assess underlying business impact of a specific course of action and business / process change
- Fluent in English
- Understanding of business processes, financial planning and business in general

- Customer focusedKnowledge of SAP

Management Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, influencing, entrepreneurship, strong result orientation and drive, problem solving, project management, team working/building with different levels of seniority (both internal and external).
- Capability of selling ideas, concepts and programs to internal customers and suppliers and up and down the relevant AN organizations, ability to work under minimal supervision with broad direction.
- B e able to manage conflicting business interests, understand and be able to establish common ground in organizational (including cross BU) barriers.
- Ability to perform, understand and communicate detailed information analysis and evaluation
- Bachelor ’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or other relevant discipline preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience including in a significant (international) commercial role
