Nouryon - has an outstanding opportunity for a Product Manager Natural Resources in Houston, Texas.


Nouryon Performance Formulations is a global supplier of surfactants (alkoxylates & amines), polymers, chelates and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). We’re constantly innovating in our product lines, our application science, and our regulatory capabilities to satisfy the evolving demands of our marketplace.  As the world is changing, customers are demanding more sustainable consumer products.     


The Role
Nouryon Natural Resources is looking for an experienced individual to fill the Product Manager position for the business line Natural Resources covering all products above. Successful execution of this role requires thorough understanding of our product portfolio, our footprint and supply chain, while executing business development activities to fully utilize our assets.

Your responsibilities

  • Maximize EBITDA for the various products sold in the business line Natural Resources
  • Define the asset & product strategy for our alkoxylation plants
  • Set global floor prices for product portfolio
  • Develop programs and promotions that strengthen the asset utilization of the assets
  • Reduce complexity by continuously evaluating product wheel and package types offered
  • Partner with supply chain to ensure reliable supply, asset capacity, and appropriate inventory
  • Manage product allocations in period of demand greater than supply
  • Identify internal and external options to augment supply chain
  • Set capex priorities and approve capacity investment decisions
  • Partner with R&D to develop product line extensions and minor product modifications
  • Identify new customer needs and provide input for new product development
  • Keep current with market trends, competition, and regulatory trends
  • Active member of the Global Product Management team


Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business is required
  • An MBA or master’s education is preferred
  • 5 years of relevant Commercial, Marketing, Product Management, or Finance experience 
  • Written and spoken fluency in English required
  • Comfortable in working across global cultures
  • Strong focus on internal and external customers
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, listening, writing, verbal, influencing
  • Business acumen, result oriented, and problem-solving abilities
  • Project management capabilities and skills
