The BU is present in 15 countries in Europe . The main countries are Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russian Federation, Spain and UK.
Our Ambès site is producing Sodium Chlorate and count 42 employees
Responsibilities
As Site Manager, you are responsible for efficiency and quality of the all Site activities. You have the full authority to take all decisions regarding the installations, organization, employees and in general all site activities.
Key Objective of Position
- Lead and coordinate all site activities
- Drives efficiency, effectiveness, performance improvements and compliance of site activities
Principal accountabilities
- Define, propose to the upper management and implement policies and projects (financial, administration, engineering, etc.) in order to optimise production units
- Define and implement, for the site, policies for QHSE, PPAM, SGS
- Define annual objectives for the site in line with SBU targets
- Prepare and submit to the management budget, TOP, BSCs … for the site
- Control and justify deviation, eg. Budget, Investments
- Lead, coordinate and manage Production, Maintenance, QHSE, Lab and Administration departments
- Ensure the cost efficiency optimisation of the organisation
- Define salary policy
- Insure that all positions are staffed adequately. Including the safety critical position as define in the Nouryon programs
- Prepare and send all reports needed by the management in the proper delay
- Ensure the tight respect of the legislation regarding the site as well as all Nouryon policies and programs
- Maintain privileged relationship with the others site managers, administrations and government
- Communicate and negotiate with unions, Work Council, …
- Is the chairman for the Work Council and for the Safety and Health committee
- Relay BU, sBU and Nouryon policies to the site management team and to the employees
- Organize, participate and manage all necessary meetings
- Represents Nouryon business to the local authorities
- Ensures the management of the service contract with Kurita
Qualifications
- Min 5 years experience in relevant and/or similar role
- Engineering degree, preferably in Chemical
- Chlorate process high knowledge
- QHSE policies command
- Knowledge of operations permit and applicable legislation
- Analysis, wrap up and decision skills
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Fluent French and English
