                       Process Analytics Engineer

 

Job purpose:

Build digital capabilities and other domain expertise and utilize digital tools and data analytics to capture operational improvements to drive operational improvement

 

Key Accountabilities:

Build digital capabilities and other domain expertise and utilize digital tools and data analytics to capture operational improvements to drive operational improvement.

 

Key Activities:

 

  • Through digital data mining, collect, interpret, and report manufacturing process related data.
  • Provide insights from quantitative and qualitative data analysis by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
  • (Co)develop, implement and/or optimize work processes, techniques and systems related to manufacturing data systems
  • Formulate and present possible (process and content) solution directions and issue advice at request or at own initiative based on own experience
  • Identifies shortcomings in current reporting methods, data systems and corresponding procedures; proposes and (where possible) implements alternatives
  • Continue to support best practices in utilization of GMT program across sites
  • Collaborate with the Operational Excellence Team when it comes to deliver support for data analysis and validation on manufacturing sites2. Level of Autonomy
  • Being able to understand the challenges of chemical manufacturing and with the use of Data, Tools and Processes provide the organization with Digital Capabilities to solve issues and improve productivity
  • Collaborate with several different functions such as BU ISC, GMT Program and CI programs to both implement new digital tools as well as building digital capabilities within the (site) organization.

 

Job requirements:

  • Position for ambitious person with minimum of five years of experience
  • Understand the challenges of chemical manufacturing and with the use of Data, Tools and Processes provide the organization with Digital Capabilities to solve issues and improve productivity
  • Geographical Experience: Can support sites across multiple regions
  • Business Unit Experience: Has worked in 2 units, preferably
  • Functional Experience: Has worked in at least 2 parts of the function
  • Project Experience (Change Management): Has led projects in general.
  • People Management Experience: Has some managerial experiences.
  • Work Scope Experience: Has been exposed to working and impacting at > 1 site.
  • Management Team Experience: not relevant

 

 

Education:

 

  • Academic level: BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or other technical related field.  Master’s Degree in related field a plus.
