Do you have experience as an Account Manager in the chemical industry or a Master’s degree a scientific or technical education such as chemical engineering and looking for a commercial role? Then you might be the new ‘Account Manager’ for Nouryon.

Location: Preferably Cologne/Germany.
(Potentially other sites in Germany or The Netherlands).


Your challenge as an Account Manager
This position is responsible for managing Levasil Customers with a strong focus on volumes and margin reporting to the Sales Manager Levasil Europe.
The Account manager will, in collaboration with Product, technical and marketing team, execute the long to medium-term commercial strategy. You will be part of a team of 3 account manager. In This role you will be traveling to customers within Europe which is approx. 1/3 of your time. 


Your duties will be:
To deliver sales according to budget & Increase volume and profitability for assigned account(s). Customer and business relation is key to success.
On top of that you;
•    Deliver on the short- and long-term objectives
•    Identify and develop business growth opportunities
•    Direct contact with customers in the field, representing Nouryon in a professional manner
•    Provide accurate sales forecasts and update business systems according to market information
•    Acquire new customers and volumes
•    Keep customer satisfaction

Have you got what it takes?
To be eligible for this challenging position, you either are experienced account manager in the chemical industry or you graduated in a chemical engineering (master’s degree) and a commercial drive. You are independent, self-starting and have a commercial mindset!

Furthermore, you are:
•    Fluent in English and German
•    Willing to be part of a well working team with an international mindset.
