Your challenge as a Global Asset Manager Organic Peroxide (OP) Fleet
You are responsible to ensure that the global policies and procedures for OP fleet maintenance and handling are implemented globally within Nouryon Functional Chemicals. You will contribute to improving the operations and safety of the OP fleet. Besides that you are responsible for all operational temperature controlled Nouryon owned container shipments within on global level. You also will interact frequently with other functional colleagues and the business. You are part of a global organization where co-operation, interaction and knowledge-sharing is key. Responsibilities:
•Responsible for standardization of reefer procedures globally regarding on-board loading, handling, transport and maintenance (documented in the reefer operating manual etc.). Moreover, you assure that employees globally dealing with reefers are all properly trained.
•Determining root causes of failure and report reefer incidents. Moreover, managing improvement projects around the operations and safety related to the reefer fleet, such as the introduction of a GPS system and improvements of sea transport routes global carriers.
•Creating and distributing KPIs for effective management of the fleet such as: Average turnaround per product/customer, Turns versus target, Container fleet demand forecast accuracy and Fleet utilization and Number of ideal containers.
•Developing an annual plan for each region’s reefer fleet concerning maintenance overhaul together with local business management. Moreover, you will propose the yearly reefer budget global to Sales and Marketing and you allocate reefers to sales orders.
•Monitoring and controlling quality and cost of reefer refurbishments for the global reefer fleet. You will be a focal point for non-commercial issues with approval reefer-suppliers in conjunction with purchasing.
•Contact person for operational problems with Nouryon owned reefers during transport via the NCEC Emergency Hotline. As a Member of Transport Incident Team you will also discuss and evaluate transport incidents and near misses. Finally, you will assist the Transport Purchasing and Logistics Departments on information related to reefers for sea transportation companies and participate in the approval process of new carriers.
•Globally coordinate OP- fleet monitoring on site level within control with the regional fleet agent.

Additionally, you also bring the following:
•Bachelor’s degree in the field of Logistics and Transport or (Electrical / Chemical) Engineering or equivalent. N.B.: Candidates with Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) with interesting experience and motivation will be challenged to send their job application too!
•At least 5 years of working experience preferably in a technical environment. Experience with cooling and electrical engineering will be considered as a plus.
•Knowledge of ADR/RID/ADNR/IMDG regulations.
•Practical knowledge of SAP and MS office tools.
•Good command of English.
•You own competences such as: Good communication skills at different levels in the organization, Team player with strong coaching skills, Organizer, Result oriented, Stress resistant and Creative in finding solutions.
•Readiness to travel globally up to 25% of time.
