Responsibilities
To execute the Process discipline work in Sales and Execution projects within the scope of Eka Engineering. To apply tools, working methods and standards for Eka Engineering. To provide service and support to customers in North America.
- Process calculations, equipment dimensional design, piping system and instrumentation.
- Revision of the digital model P&ID and the Material & energy balances.
- Revision of the digital model P&ID and the Material & energy balances.
- Input to the functional description of the instrumentation and the DCS program.
- Develop process specifications in equipment purchasing and technical evaluation of quotations from suppliers
- Develop the operation and maintenance manuals, the commissioning and startup of the plants and for the training of the customer’s operations and maintenance personnel
- Customer service / Trouble shooting participation
- Ensure that the work is made according to our work processes, in a timely manner and with high quality
- Make sure all work during commissioning and start up periods is made with the required health and safety levels
- Support the Products and Services sales work process by providing basic design and other information to the Sales organization
Requirements
- B.S in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required, MS required
- Min 4 years of experience from process design engineering, startup and commissioning in an international environment. (Min 1 years of experience w/Masters Degree)
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Knowledge in process design tools and applications.
- Experience from chemical plant projects, R&D or manufacturing.
- Ability to communicate (verbal as well as written.).
- Ability to cooperate, teamwork.
- Target focus.
- Basic skills in risk assessments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software.
