Account Manager BeNeLux– Cleaning

About the job

As Account Manager you will deliver sales according to budget and growth targets and provide accurate sales forecasts. You will identify business growth opportunities and are in direct contact with customers and distributors in the field, representing Nouryon in a professional manner. Together with the technical team and other functions you will serve the customer in the best way possible. You will contribute to the realization of the growth strategy for the BeNeLux, potentially Germany, and wider European market, as well as the growth strategy for a global key account.

In your future role as Account Manager you will

  • Assess and understand the market needs, development and trends including changes in the customer base, competition, cleaning applications, solutions and products in the market
  • Develop, manage and ensure the realization of sales for the assigned (key) accounts
  • Identify, assess and develop potential new accounts
  • Achieve annual sales results and business growth versus an annual plan from the established customer base and identify new accounts
  • Establish and build senior-level relationships with key decision-makers and buyers
  • Understand and assess customers’ needs, business objectives, strategies and build compelling customer value propositions representing our portfolio
  • Serve as a lead contracts negotiator on commercial terms
  • Support and actively contribute to the development of the Global Key Account
  • Serve as the central resource for communications with the customer on new product developments in the Nouryon portfolio 

We believe you bring

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s Chemistry, Engineering, Biology and/or BBA/MBA
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a similar sales role within manufacturing
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, both verbal and in writing (German and/or French would be a +).
  • Experience in the chemical industry, and specifically in or with the cleaning industry, is preferred
  • Very strong experience in networking and interpersonal skills with internal and external customer

You will have the chance to work with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The regional sales team is striving to be better every day and are always willing to help whenever necessary. Our employment package comprises:

  • A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
  • A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 69,069 and EUR 108.075.
  • 25 vacation days + 10 leave days.
  • An end-of-year bonus.
  • Excellent pension scheme.
  • Good growth and training opportunities.

Good to know

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, based in Amersfoort with a travel component of around 30-50%.
