About the job:


 As an Account Manager in Agrochemicals, you will spearhead our sales efforts in the fatty amine market segment, focusing on primary and secondary amines and a broad range of alkyl chain amines. Your role is critical in managing and expanding both existing and new customer relationships, and strategically increasing our market share.


In your future role as an Account Manager-Agrochemicals, you will:


  • Thoroughly map out market demand, competition, and growth opportunities within the primary amines and broader oleochemicals markets.
  • Develop and execute robust business strategies for key and regional accounts across North America to secure a competitive position and expand market share.
  • Cultivate direct interactions with customers to showcase Nouryon’s expertise and capabilities in the oleochemicals and surfactants segment.
  • Work closely with global marketing and strategy teams to align regional sales strategies with global objectives, enhancing product availability and supply solutions.



We believe you bring:


  • 10+ years of proven sales experience in the oleochemicals industry, with a specific focus on amines chemistry.
  • A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to map competition and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and the capability to effectively communicate and negotiate.
  • Fluency in English, and proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, SAP, and MS Office.
  • Demonstrated success in national and multinational account management, including strategic planning and execution.
  • A collaborative spirit to work effectively with internal teams such as R&D, customer service, and supply chain.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time



Good to know:

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Head of Sales North America for Agriculture and Food. This role is a remote based position with a 50% travel requirement.
