 About the job:

Nouryon has an outstanding opportunity for an Account Manager for our Kromasil product line.  This is a remote position. This role aims to ensure that a profitable business is maintained and developed with defined key accounts. 

 In your future role as an Account Manager, you will:

  • Develop, manage and ensure realization of sales for assigned accounts
  • Achieve annual sales results and business growth against annual plan
  • Define and develop opportunities for new business as part of detailed account planning and sales forecasting
  • Develop strong relationship with key decision makers and buyers and create multi-level connections within the customer organization
  • Understand and assess customers’ needs, business objectives, strategies and build compelling customer value propositions representing our product portfolio
  • Negotiate commercial terms for Kromasil supply agreements
  • Serve as the customer’s ambassador, trusted advisor, and advocate within Nouryon
  • Represent Nouryon at pharmaceutical industry trade events/conferences/exhibitions
  • Leverage the Nouryon organization and team(s) to serve customers in the best way possible
  • In combination with Nouryon technical support resources, consult with customers on the optimal product selection and application of Kromasil in their processes
  • Communicate new product developments in the Kromasil portfolio in coordination with marketing efforts
  • Provide insights in CRM regarding quantitative and qualitative developments through periodic and ad hoc reports and/or analyses
  • Keep business systems updated
  • Responsible to act according to the Golden Principle, Life Saving Rules, Nouryon corporate directives and standards and according to internal policies and procedures

We believe you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.
  • Experience with high pressure liquid chromatography
  • Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Preferred 3-5 years of sales experience in a B2B Specialty Chemical Sales or relevant
  • Experience in managing and developing complex accounts
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop and present relevant material to internal and external audiences
  • Strong knowledge of CRM, SAP, and MS Office
  • Ability to deploy sales tracking tools
  • Ability to travel approx. 20%-30%

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager-Americas.
