About the job  

Ensure that production is carried out in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines.

In your future role as Production Supervisor you will

• Comply with tasks and responsibilities within the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Ensure that operational personnel comply with the procedures in which they are involved within the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure that personnel follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) where applicable.
• Maintain standard yields and cycle times.
• Ensure that equipment logs for pressure vessels (when applicable) are completed correctly.
• Take the necessary corrective actions to control products within specifications and QMS guidelines.
• Maintain harmonious discipline while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Verify that QMS records are completed accurately.
• Request maintenance service when equipment requires it and follow up until completion.
• Ensure that production areas are kept clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Plan and assign activities to operators according to production needs.
• Participate in the training of unionized personnel (when applicable).
• Participate in the development of operating procedures (when applicable).
• Participate in fire brigade, evacuation, first aid, and other emergency response teams, while supporting the ongoing training of personnel under their supervision.
• Enter production data into SAP (when applicable).
• Efficiently manage the resources required for continuous and uninterrupted production.
• Participate in MTS walkthroughs and follow up on corrective actions through completion.
• Implement and maintain the 5S program within assigned areas.

We believe you bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience
• Must speak English
  
  

Great if you have

• Experience with SAP
• Six Sigma certifications
