About the Job:

 

We are looking for an open-minded and enthusiastic professional with strong Functional Application Management experience to support and continuously improve our core logistics applications.

 

As part of the IM Services Functional Application Support team, you will play a key role in ensuring business continuity, system reliability, and high user satisfaction while driving strategic improvements across our SAP logistics landscape.

 

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and global IM teams across different regions.

 

 

In your future role as Application Manager SAP Transportation Management, you will:

 

SAP Transportation Management (TM)

  • Implement and support SAP TM for inbound and outbound logistics processes
  • Manage shipper scenarios across road, rail, and ocean transportation
  • Maintain SAP TM master data (products, business partners, dangerous goods, routes, lanes, zones, vehicles, planning profiles, etc.)
  • Oversee order management, freight execution, carrier selection, tendering, charge, and settlement
  • Ensure integration with SAP modules such as SD, MM, LE, FI, GTS, LBN, and P44

 

SAP Materials Management (MM):

  • Manage procurement processes including PRs, POs, contracts, MRP, and master data
  • Handle intra/intercompany STOs, inventory management, and vendor consignment
  • Configure release strategies and service entry sheets

 

SAP Logistics Execution & Warehouse Management (LE/WM):

  • Oversee warehouse processes including inbound/outbound logistics, storage setup, and HU/SN management
  • Support setup and configuration of new SAP plants

 

Integration & Tools:

  • Ensure integration with other SAP modules (Manufacturing, FICO, PM, GFM)
  • Work with Ariba and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
  • Perform LSMW and mass data updates

 

Application & Change Support:

  • Manage incidents and ensure high system availability (including 24/7 standby when required)
  • Monitor application performance in line with SLA and business needs
  • Coordinate with vendors and act as first-level escalation point
  • Ensure compliance with IM processes and maintain updated documentation
  • Lead integration testing and support UAT cycles
  • Facilitate Key User network meetings
  • Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives across logistics applications

 

 

We believe you bring:

  • 6–10 years of experience in SAP logistics modules with strong focus on SAP TM
  • At least one full-cycle SAP TM implementation
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA and SAP TM (preferred)
  • Solid functional knowledge of order management, freight execution, charge management, and settlement
  • Experience with optimizer planning, conditions, and selection profiles
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
  • SAP TM certification (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal), as you will collaborate with global teams
  • Availability to work on-site at our Mexico City office (address to be shared)

This is a permanent role, full-time and fully on-site role at our office in MX City: Av. de los Insurgentes Sur, 1271 – Torre Carraci. CDMX.

 

You’ll report to the IM Delivery Manager, who’s based in the Netherlands
