Are you an outcome-driven and influential leader with a passion for digital operations intelligence and value creation? Do you have a proven interest in translating complex operational challenges into data-driven solutions? At Nouryon, we are seeking a talented and driven professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, ISC Operations Intelligence, in Amsterdam.
About the role
The Senior Manager, ISC Operations Intelligence leads the definition, deployment, and value realization of Nouryon's ISC digital operations intelligence capability. This role translates ISC business priorities into a structured pipeline of digital use cases — starting with the Palantir Foundry platform — and drives their end-to-end delivery across all three ISC regions.
Sitting at the intersection of operational excellence, supply chain, and digital technology, this role owns the business case for each initiative, partners closely with IM and the Digital Manufacturing team to deliver, and holds accountability for demonstrated VMC (Value Measured in Cash) impact. The scope is intentionally platform-agnostic, covering the full landscape of white-collar decision intelligence tools supporting ISC leadership and process owners.
Your responsibilities as Senior Manager, ISC Operations Intelligence will include:
Use Case Ownership & Value Pipeline
· Define and maintain the ISC operations intelligence use case pipeline, prioritizing initiatives based on VMC impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
· Own the business requirements for each use case — translating operational problems from Site Directors, Regional OpEx Managers, and ISC LT into structured, actionable briefs for IM and digital delivery teams.
· Validate realized value post-deployment in partnership with Finance ISC, ensuring benefits are captured in the VMC productivity reporting cycle.
Program Deployment & Governance
- Lead end-to-end program governance for the ISC Palantir deployment.
- Coordinate across IM Project Manager, Palantir experts, Regional OpEx Leads, and data/ontology team to ensure integrated delivery against the program charter (DMND0004735).
- Own the deployment roadmap across all three ISC regions (Americas, Europe, Asia).
Stakeholder Alignment & Change Management
- Serve as the primary business interface between ISC operations and the IM/Palantir delivery team.
- Build and maintain engagement with Site Directors and process owners to drive adoption, surface new use cases, and sustain momentum beyond initial go-live.
- Partner with the Digital Director and Advanced Analytics & Control Manager to define clear capability boundaries, align on roadmap priorities, and ensure coherent delivery across the ISC digital landscape.
Platform-Agnostic Digital Expansion
- Identify and evaluate additional digital tools for the white-collar ISC decision intelligence landscape beyond the initial Palantir deployment.
- Build the ISC digital operations roadmap in collaboration with the VP Global OpEx and Digital Director.
We believe you bring
· Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, or Business preferred.
· 8+ years of professional experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or operational excellence roles.
· Demonstrated experience owning digital or analytics program delivery in a manufacturing or process industry environment.
· Working knowledge of ERP-integrated data environments.
· Proven ability to translate operational problems into structured digital use cases and business requirements.
· Agile or product management methodology experience.
· Strong change management and stakeholder influence skills in a global, matrixed organization.
· Conceptual understanding of enterprise data platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry, Azure, PowerBI).
Great if you have
- Direct experience working with Palantir Foundry in an operational or supply chain context.
- Experience in specialty chemicals, process manufacturing, or similarly capital-intensive industries.
- Familiarity with MES, historian, and OT/IT integration architectures.
We believe you are
An outcome-driven leader who moves with urgency and holds yourself accountable to realized value — not just delivery milestones. You are equally comfortable in a boardroom conversation about VMC targets and a technical scoping session with a data engineer. You build trust quickly across organizational boundaries, navigate ambiguity without losing momentum, and know how to land a program in a complex, multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
You are energized by building something new, proving its value, and continuously raising the bar — not by maintaining the status quo.
We offer you
the chance to work with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization. We are striving to be better every day and are always willing to help whenever necessary. Our employment package comprises:
- A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
- A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 116,000 and EUR 145.000.
- 30 vacation days.
- A performance bonus based on KPI’s.
- An excellent pension plan with a strong contribution rate, most of which is paid by Nouryon.
- LifeCheck Employee Assistance Program: Free, confidential wellbeing support for you and your family.
- Bright, modern offices with excellent public transport connections.
- An attractive bike plan.
- A company fitness plan to stay active and healthy.
Good to know
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with a travel component of 25/30% globally. In this role you report to the reporting to the VP Global Operational Excellence & Digital Manufacturing based in Chicago.
