Göteborg, Sweden Apply Now Apply until: 15 Aug 2026

At Nouryon, our global team takes positive action every day, to reach higher collectively and individually. We create innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers to answer society’s needs – today and in the future.

We are looking for a Process Analytics Engineer who combines chemical process expertise with a passion for data and digital tools to drive operational excellence at our manufacturing sites. Does that sound like you?

About the job

Join the Digital Manufacturing team dedicated to making Nouryon’s manufacturing sites smarter, safer, and more efficient. As our new Process Analytics Engineer, you will work at the intersection of process engineering and data analytics – using digital tools to uncover improvement opportunities, optimize process control, and build lasting capabilities across our sites. You will collaborate closely with site engineers, science & technology teams, and other regional functions to turn data into real operational impact.

In your future role as Process Analytics Engineer you will

  •  Conduct digital data mining to collect, interpret, and report process-related improvement opportunities at our manufacturing sites
  • Review and optimize the process control layer using available digital tools, combined with your practical and theoretical process knowledge
  • Connect and collaborate with focus sites and other Digital Manufacturing teams within Nouryon to drive the Digital Manufacturing roadmap
  • Share knowledge and build digital, analytical, and process control capabilities – both within the regional team and at site level
  • Contribute as a domain expert in cross-functional improvement projects, including stakeholder management

We believe you bring

  • A degree at academic level in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience from the process industry – experience in process control or plant optimization is a strong plus
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, with a data-savvy mindset and comfort using modern digital and AI-supported tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • A proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage stakeholders at different levels of the organization

Great if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with process data systems, DCS/SCADA, or advanced process control tools
  • Experience leading or participating in process improvement or digitalization projects
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g. Python), and experience working with AI tools such as Claude or Claude Code

We believe you are...

Someone who takes a helicopter view of complex manufacturing environments and uses data and facts to identify where the biggest improvements can be made. You have a natural ability to communicate and to bring people along with you – whether you are presenting an idea to site management or collaborating with hands-on process engineers. You are curious, self-driven, and embrace change. You thrive in a cross-functional environment where no two days look the same.

We offer you

At Nouryon, we provide a great job and friendly coworkers, plus benefits in addition to salary. Our collective agreement is with IKEM. Plus, we offer unilateral perks, such as bonus, reduced hours, health care allowance, lunch allowance, and more.
You will be part of a dynamic Digital Manufacturing team working with some of the most exciting digital transformation challenges in the specialty chemicals industry. This is a role where you can genuinely see the impact of your work – at site level every day, and at company level over time.

Have we got your interest?

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Manager Process Analytics, and based at one of our ISC manufacturing sites in Sweden.
