About the job

In this exceptional role as Site Manager in Örnsköldsvik you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and delivering successful operations at our largest EHEC production facility. You will be responsible for achieving agreed targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement with a local team of approximately 125 fte. Ensuring safe, compliant operations and building strong stakeholder engagement are key to your success. As a leader, you will operate in a collaborative and evolving environment where building alignment and strong relationships is key. You are comfortable engaging with a variety of perspectives and contribute to constructive dialogue that supports progress and long-term success. With a structured and proactive approach, you help move initiatives forward and secure sustainable outcomes.


In your future role as Site Manager, you will
 

  • Plan, lead, organize & control the delivery of set targets (in terms of safety, reliability, productivity, service, cost, quality and material/eco-efficiency) and provide insights regarding developments based on analysis
  • Respond effectively to minimize hazards in safety, health, security and environment
  • Develop a strong talent bench for key positions at site
  • Set the example by living the Nouryon values and working across Functions and Businesses to drive the Nouryon and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) strategy and specific site related operational improvements
  • Communicate and ensure that ISC strategy is cascaded to the site organization effectively to ensure appropriate alignment on focus
  • Engage stakeholders to maintain and oversee external relations to ensure that the company values and license to operate are sustained
  • Manage and plan relevant (departmental) budgets Report on progress on a continuous basis


We believe you bring
 

  • Profound knowledge and extensive experience in People Safety, Process Safety, Asset Integrity and HSE in general
  • Strong experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or other relevant tools and processes
  • Proven leadership experience in the process industry
  • Proven people management and labor relations experience 
  • Bachelor’s, master’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, or similar discipline
  • Strong communications skills orally and in writing both in English and Swedish


Great if you have    

  • Six sigma green belt, black belt or master black belt certification
