About the job

 

  • Assist in development for preventative maintenance plans on I&E equipment.
  • Drive troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts to identify and resolve complex I&E issues promptly, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and safety departments, to plan and execute electrical maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal plant performance.
  • Review and update the SAP PMs and spare parts structure to ensure the system has the right guidance for the contractor’s execution.
  • Monitor equipment performance and efficiency, recommending and overseeing the implementation of improvements, upgrades, and modifications as necessary to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support, and guidance to plant operators, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

 

 

In your future role as an E&I Specialist, you will

 

  • Support site operations, engineering, and maintenance guidance based on a knowledge and expertise in I&E field.
  • Audit PMs and execution on the field, providing contractors guidance and update the SOP and plans as needed.
  • Work with maintenance and contractors to meet maintenance needs in a timely fashion.
  • Support project development and execution, to ensure maintainability of new installations and development of effective maintenance plans for new equipment.
  • Review the quality and effectiveness of maintenance through field observations and follow up.
  • Respond and maintain site safety and operations during emergencies (weather, power outages, etc.) that may include hours outside of normal business hours.
  • Participate in HSES activities as PHA – HAZOP, PSSR, and other company programs as BBS, SCAN Cards etc.

 

 

 

We believe you bring

 

  • 10+ years of field experience with troubleshooting and maintaining electrical distribution systems, PLCs, DCS, and process instrumentation.
  • Associates degree in instrumentation or other certification
  • Experience working in chemical/petrochemical manufacturing facilities is a plus. 
  • Experience managing facility contractors
  • Knowledge/Experience of operation and maintenance of plant utilities (i.e. steam, compressed air, cooling towers, chillers, HVAC, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Experience in creating maintenance operational procedures a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be hands-on.  
  • Candidate must be able to work outside normal business hours as needed during emergencies and/or contractor management.
