SolAmaze Natural polymer recognized with Cosmetic & Toiletries Allē Award

Nouryon has received a 2022 Cosmetic & Toiletries (C&T) Allē Award in the category of Base Ingredients for its SolAmaze™ Natural polymer. Recognized in the category of “Most Significant Sun/Light Protection Base Ingredient,” SolAmaze™ Natural is a novel bio-based, biodegradable, film-forming polymer that offers superior water resistance and pleasing aesthetics for a broad spectrum of sunscreen applications.

The C&T Allē Awards are a newly reinvented awards program (previously known as the C&T R&D Awards and the International Technology Awards) bringing behind-the-scenes ingenuity in cosmetics and personal care research into the spotlight. The Allē Awards honor the scientific discipline, formulating skills, resourcefulness, and creativity of innovators throughout the cosmetic product development process.

All award entries and their supporting documentation were reviewed by an esteemed panel of experts who rated them on parameters such as sustainability, multifunctionality, novelty, proof of efficacy, and more. The panel praised SolAmaze™ Natural polymer for its sustainability and safety profile as well as its multifunctionality.
