About the job

 

The Sales Support & Commercial excellence Manager is a key strategic partner to the regional sales team responsible for providing comprehensive business analysis, commercial excellence insights and sales support functions. This position will manage a team of five direct reports, facilitating effective sales operations and driving business growth through data-driven insights. The role requires a dynamic leader capable of enhancing sales processes, optimizing performance, and delivering exceptional support to the sales team.

 

In your future role as “Sales Support& Commercial Excellence Manager you will

 

  • Manage and lead a team of five direct reports, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Oversee the development and preparation of client proposals, presentations, and contracts to support the sales team.
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and product knowledge to succeed.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain sales reporting tools and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Vice President to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Align sales support activities with regional sales strategies and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between sales and other departments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales support functions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Communicate effectively with business line commercial excellence functions to coordinate APAC region sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to resolve issues and facilitate collaboration.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales support, business analysis, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Proven track record of driving sales performance and supporting sales teams in achieving targets.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. knowledge of SAP is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices.
