About the job

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuous improvement of electrical and instrumentation systems at Nouryon’s Pasadena, TX site. You’ll lead engineering projects from design through commissioning, partner with EPC contractors and cross-functional teams, and provide technical solutions in a complex industrial environment. 

In your future role as Electrical Engineer you will

• Develop engineering packages that meet safety, technical, operational, and quality standards while seeking cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with EPC consultants and contractors to design, procure, construct, and commission site facilities.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide day-to-day technical support.
• Lead Electrical and Instrumentation reliability through continuous improvement and appropriate capital investment.
• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and other stakeholders to integrate multidisciplinary insights into electrical solutions.
• Adapt to emerging technologies and evolving requirements by acquiring new skills and applying innovative solutions.

We believe you bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• Relevant electrical engineering experience in large industrial facilities, preferably 5-10 years in refinery, gas plant, or petrochemical environments.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70/70E/70B/496/497, IEEE 1584, API 505, NETA, SKM.

Great if you have  

• Proficiency reading/writing Spanish is a plus.
• NIDA/SKM software familiarity a plus
