Levasil® colloidal silica is a truly versatile component in catalyst  manufacturing - providing advantages such as extended lifetime, higher productivity, and better use of rare raw materials. 

The catalyst industry is highly demanding and our Levasil® CA product portfolio is specifically designed to meet its wide range of requirements. Thanks to their high purity and product consistency, our Levasil® CA products are ideal components in catalyst manufacturing. We offer products with very low levels of chlorides and sulfates, ammonium stabilized products with low sodium levels as well as products excellent as raw materials in zeolite production. Our Levasil® CA products can be used for many different types of catalysts and zeolites.

Levasil colloidal silica

Levasil CA421 PNH

Levasil® CA421 PNH is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion of colloidal silica that is approximately 40% solids by weight. The silica dispersion is ammonia stabilized and the amorphous silica particles carry a negative surface charge. The silica particles are discrete, have a slightly uneven, spherical shape, and are present in a narrow particle size distribution. The physical appearance of the dispersion is a translucent liquid, slightly more viscous than water with the recognizable smell of ammonia. Levasil® CA421 PNH is produced for world-wide distribution.

Levasil CA425 H

Levasil® CA425 H is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion of colloidal silica that is approximately 40% solids by weight. The silica dispersion is sodium stabilized and the amorphous silica particles carry a negative surface charge. The silica particles are discrete, have a slightly uneven, spherical shape, and are present in a narrow particle size distribution. The physical appearance of the dispersion is a translucent liquid, slightly more viscous than water. Levasil® CA425 H is produced for world-wide distribution.

Levasil® CA414 PNM is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion of colloidal silica that is 40% solids by weight. The silica dispersion is ammonia stabilized and the amorphous silica particles carry a negative surface charge. The physical appearance of the dispersion is an opalescent liquid, slightly more viscous than water with the recognizable smell of ammonia.
