SAP TM Application Specialist

The SAP Functional Application Support Specialist TM serves as Nouryon’s subject matter expert in support strategic change and further enhance support core application to the business.

This challenging opportunity entails supporting strategic changes and enhancing core applications critical to our business operations. You will primarily focus on SAP Transportation Management (TMS) while also contributing to Materials Management, Logistics Execution & Warehouse Management, Integration with other modules, EDI, Idoc, and more.

In your future role as Application Specialist SAP TM you will

In aspects of Functional area:

• Provide application, change, and project support, particularly focusing on SAP Transportation Management issues.
• Implement and support inbound and outbound transportation processes in LE Transportation, including shipper scenarios with various modes of transport (road, rail, ocean).
• Manage SAP TM Master Data and ensure smooth execution of order management, execution, charge management, settlement management, carrier selection, and tendering.
• Integrate with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, LE, FI, GTS, and others.
• Maintain system integrity and performance, adhering to SLAs and regional business needs.
• Serve as the first escalation point for vendors and users regarding application maintenance-related services.
• Ensure compliance with IM processes and maintain up-to-date documentation of applications.
• Conduct tests, diagnose faults, and coordinate with key users on open tickets.
• Support projects in executing changes/enhancements and participate in CAB meetings.
• Drive further automation initiatives to streamline processes SAP – TMS
• Ability to manage business user expectations

We believe you bring

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-6 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) with expertise in logistics modules.
• Strong analytical skills, design thinking, and ability to gather and document functional requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and dedicated to maintaining system performance and quality solutions.
• Expert level proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
