About the job:

The Key Account Manager will focus on maintaining and expanding profitable business relationships with designated key accounts. This includes overseeing both regional cleaning accounts and coordinating select global accounts. The position combines hands-on management of day-to-day operations with the development of long-term growth strategies, driven by innovation and product development.

In your future role as a Key Account Manager, you will:

• Prepare a budget and forecast to be approved by sales manager aligned with regional and segment financial targets
• Drive Sales and Profitability of Assigned accounts and deliver short and long term financial and strategic goals
• Provide accurate forecasts by material and report results monthly to the sales manager
• Maintain and develop business relationships with dedicated customers.
• Develop a pipeline of growth opportunities to fulfill short and long term objectives reported via CRM
• Develop an account plan for strategic customers
• Elevate executive relationships between Nouryon and key stake holders
• Negotiate contracts and agreements as needed 
• Follow up payment terms, rebate agreements and overdues
• Keep track of the market/competitors  

We believe you bring:

• Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field (Technical degree in chemistry , Biology or formulation science) or business.
• >10 years of experience in sales or technical service with demonstrated relationships and ability to translate and leverage the knowledge and relationship into opportunity development and sales growth. Experience in the cleaning industry is a plus
• Financial acumen - ability to interpret and analyze key financial data relevant to territory and strategic goals
• Strong Communication Skills, and ability to develop and present relevant material to internal and external audiences- Strong team player
• Ability to deploy sales tracking tools 

Good to know: 

• This is a remote position with an up to 50% travel requirement.
• This position reports directly into the Sales Manager for Cleaning.

Compensation Information:

• The salary range for this position ranges from $132,600 to $156,000, although individuals may eventually progress through the pay scale in this role up to $179,400. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role as well as the individuals’ qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive annual bonuses.
• Employees (and their families) will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are also eligible to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive paid time off and the mandated company holidays throughout the calendar year.
