Purpose of the Job

The purpose of this role is to insure Pharma targets in the region are met and growth opportunities in the region are identified, leads generated and converted to new business. Current territory covers an annual net sales of 7.5 MM$. Responsibility covers  regional accounts, channel partners and some responsibility for global coordination of select accounts.

The role includes managing day-to-day operation to laying a growth strategy for the segment in the region.

 

About the job (Job Responsibilities)

  • Drive Sales and Profitability of Assigned account and deliver short and long term financial and strategic goals
  • Propose payment terms, rebate agreements and minimize overdue.
  • Provide accurate forecasts by material and report results monthly to the sales manager. Monitor and report discrepancies vs targets including contingency plans.
  • Prepare annual budget and forecast to be approved by sales manager aligned with regional and segment financial targets.
  • Maintain and develop business relationships with key accounts, reports developments via call reports in CRM. Develop annual account plan for strategic customers
  • Develop a pipeline of growth opportunities to fulfill short- and long-term objectives reported via CRM.
  • Define channel strategy, negotiate contracts, including performance targets for Key channel partners and ensure the annual targets are met.
  • Keep track and report regularly a summary of the regional Pharma market, including new launches, relevant market needs and trends, relevant regulatory landscape, branded and CDMO developments and competitors' activity. Recommend and implement options for Nouryon to defend and grow its share in the market. Recommend technical and marketing activity to address customer and market developments.

 

We believe you bring (Education & Experience)

  • Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field (Technical degree in chemistry , Biology or formulation science) or business . Masters preferred
  • >10 years of experience in sales or technical service with demonstrated relationships and ability to translate and leverage the knowledge and relationship into opportunity development and sales growth. Experience in the Pharma industry is a plus
  • Financial acumen - ability to interpret and analyze key financial data relevant to territory and strategic goals
  • Strong Communication Skills, and ability to develop and present relevant material to internal and external audiences and develop conclusions and recommendations- Strong team player
  • Ability to deploy sales tracking tools
