Now in its thirteenth edition, the International Fair and Congress of Advanced Materials covers a broad spectrum of technologies, including composites, polyurethane, thermoplastic compounds, engineering plastics, nanotechnology/graphene, hybrid materials, and elastomers. Thermoset composites are widely used in everyday applications, ranging from artificial quartz stone for interior decoration to boats, yacht shells, cutlery trays, and buttons. Organic peroxides play a key role in their production, serving as curing agents that enable liquid resins—such as unsaturated polyester resin—to solidify into durable, high-performance materials. With the right combination of fillers and additives, these systems can be tailored to a wide range of industrial and consumer applications.
