As part of our commitment to continue improving, we looked more closely at Nouryon logistics in 2021, regarding both environmental impact and safety.
Transportation, including handling and storage, were priority focus areas in this exercise. Despite our strong track record, we engaged logistics experts and created a central function to conduct gap analysis in our warehouses, terminals and depots as well as our processes and associated technology. As a result, additional investment in resourcing and IT are being allocated in order to evolve our transportation strategy, while accelerating safety performance in this area.
