Nouryon has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Contracts and Service Assistant in Houston, Texas.


The IT Contract Assistant will support the IM Services team and will be responsible for working together with similar roles in procurement, finance and within IM on purchase-to-pay administration, financial administration, licenses and services, and contract and supplier administration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating the annual overview of expected and planned CAPEX and OPEX, based on contractual commitments and expected changes as base for the budget
  • Support Global and Regional Management in creating Appropriation Requests, Spend Control Tower approvals and Purchase orders for CAPEX and OPEX items related to projects and operational items for North America (e.g. mobile and fixed telco costs, Local Service Agreements for Application Support, Regional Local Area Network and printer contracts) and maintain related master data
  • Checking of invoices and Purchaser Order amounts against the contractual commitments and agreements based on Purchase Orders created
  • Support Global and Regional Management in reporting on KPI’s in the PO and invoicing processes and end-to-end Procure-to-pay process for the regional IT spend
  • Support Global and Regional Management in providing end-to-end ownership in the Procure-to-Pay process for the regional IT spend ensuring that suppliers are paid in time to avoid disruption in services
  • Focal point for questions in relation to contract administration
  • Keep track of committed and expected costs against the budgets
  • Support the finance department in providing insight in committed and expected costs against order numbers / cost centers and Purchase orders
  • Reporting on the planned and actual spend against contracts based on the PO administration
  • Working with various teams to ensure contractual governance models are being executed
  • Supporting the contract change process from IM Services
  • Working with various teams to ensure license administration is up-to-date and possible incompliances are being signaled
  • Ensuring contracts and contract updates are being stored and administered
  • Working with various teams to ensure an up-to-date CMDB


Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in admin roles of similar kind (preferably within the financial/contracts industry)

• Structured, accurate and precise

• Service oriented

• Accountable

• Team player

• Fluent in English (written and oral)
